Monday 13th April - Easter Monday sees the 2litre Bangers Team Champion meeting with £500 up for grabs. Teams of 4 cars, don't worry if you don't have a team as we make up teams on the day. Everyone welcome, no need to book in. (Granada's & Volvo's allowed) Also on the bill are our usual non-contact classes along with the third outing this season for the F2 Stox. Make a date and don't be late as Bank Holiday meetings are always busy. First race 12 Noon.. taken from standlake forum.. so whos doing this???

Mostly mondeos but mr shifter has a merc estate, few moegas and volvos, team asbo in vectras and the worm in a mondeo.

Heat one was queit but Jackstar rolled.

thought it was a good day overall, 50 cars in the pits it started off quiet for 3 heats except Jackstar's monster burial of 460 Koala's Honda in heat 1, rolling Jackstar on impact. Sadly it was up the other end of the track behind the tractors and stuff so I didn;t get it on video....you can't get them all anyway. After heat 3 it livened up a bit with some good hits going in, The Worm put on a great show in his jacked Mondeo in the final and the DD, dash for cash was good which saw the back of 246 Almo's Honda get ripped apart, the DD had some great hits too with a large jacking train. one of the lads from Derby taking a well deserved DD win

Also special mention must go to the Poo Crew who had 4 superbly turned out cars, complete with toilet seats as number fins
