The 2009 Young Guns V's Oldies meeting is on again on the 14th June at Southern Autosport Raceway.
Horndean, Nr Portsmouth, Hants.

This is a 2ltr meeting with National banger build specification.

Oldies are considered as anyone over the age of 30 on the day and young guns anyone under 30 on the day.

Oldies paint their cars up all black

Young guns paint their cars up all white.

Drivers door only can be welded any other amour welding will have to be removed prior to racing. Dizzy guards allowed.
Mondeos allowed.

This meeting has been well presented over the past few years and all are welcome.

Well it's all over for another year, and to those who may be interested the young guns won it!

It worked out in the end with a very good split of 13 young guns against 15 oldies and some excellent racing and crashing throughout the day.

Shame about the DD not being able to be completed due to an incident red flagging the race and our planning permission time slot making us having to have racing finished by 17.59 but he ho these things happen.

The money placed on the DD will be carried over to the following banger meeting which will be the team unlimited on the 12th July (teams of 5 cars) and some additional money will be added to this.

Thanks to all the drivers who attended and especially to those who travelled a distance, we appreciate your efforts and hope that you were made welcome.
