MEETING INTRODUCTION
We are now just a few weeks away from what has traditionally one of the highlights of the season at Dover Raceway when RDC presents At Our Best on Sunday, August 3 at 2pm featuring a massive triple header with the 2Litre Banger Kent Team Championship, Bangerstox Kent Championship and Super Rod Southern Championship featuring the best drivers Dover has to offer plus other big names from Mildenhall and beyond.
For many the headline attraction of the afternoon will be the 2litre Bangers where the Management, led by local stars 346 Scott and 349 Lee Saunders, known more commonly as Muttley and Finbarr will be aiming to once again lift the title.
Last year's event was once again a record breaker for RDC at the venue with 68 bangers packing the modest pit area spread across 19 teams, the biggest banger turnout seen at the raceway in around two decades!
Hopes are high that this year's meeting will be just as good, if not better with even more teams booked in for action and 19 teams once again booked in for action and many consider this to be the greatest line up of banger racing talent seen at the venue since RDC took over in 2000.
Among those set to appear at the Gladiators for the first time and they have three teams while the Predators and Aftermath are due to return after wreaking havoc at the season opener in April. The Motley Krew have often been the stars of this show and are back again and when you add in all the top local factions such as the Management, Six Bolt, Dover Boys Clangers, Team Koas, Metal Wreckers and No Fear plus reigning 2Litre Team Champions at Mildenhall Team Flash you have the makings of a superb event and the Condoms who have won almost every major banger racing team title, except the Kent crown.
If you were with us for this meeting last year then you know the action it delivered and we hope you will join us again this time. If you have been to Dover before but missed last year's team meeting then you probably heard about it and you know what sort of action the track can deliver. If you haven't been to Dover yet then we believe this is the meeting for you. As the title of the afternoon suggests we firmly believe this will be Dover at it's very best for banger action and we hope you won't go away disappointed.
And it's not just the bangers that will be at their best as it's a big day for the limited contact Bangerstox and non contact Super Rods as they race for the Kent and Southern Championships respectively.
Only the top drivers in the track championship will be given the invitation to compete at this important meeting meaning you will only see the best drivers this season in action and hopefully in turn see both classes at their best as well.
This page has been designed to bring you all the information about this massive event at Dover from the drivers who will be racing, to the championship history and general information on the day which might be especially useful to first time visitors.
This page will be continually updated in the lead up to RDC's At Our Best on Sunday August 3 with the latest information on the day.

Introduction
We are very pleased to report that this year's 2litre Banger Kent team championship is not only fully booked but over booked with no less than 19 teams booked in for the meeting which could mean anything up to 76 bangers on the day which will mean a very packed pit area and a very packed track which we hope will lead to some great banger action.
Last year's event attracted 68 cars across 19 teams making it not only RDC's biggest banger meeting to date at the venue but also the biggest banger meeting at the raceway in around two decades and the drivers didn't disappoint with a cracking day's action which was almost universally considered the best banger event of the year at Dover and one RDC's best banger meetings at Dover since they took over in 2000.
This is the current line up which looks very impressive, quite possibly the most impressive line up of bangers at the track in recent memory.
The cream of Kent's banger racing talent is booked in to appear including defending champions the Management, former champions the Dover Boys, plus Six Bolt, Six Bolt Rejects, No Fear, Clangers, Team Koas and Metal Wreckers.
But there are plenty of travelling teams set to join them and it could be argued it is their presence which is providing much of the pre meeting talk. The Gladiators have been a talking point of the 2008 season and have been travelling all over the country and will be making their first appearance at Dover and with three teams no less they intend to make an impact.
Same can be said for the hard hitting Predators team who make their debut at this event with two teams and few have forgotten their all action antics at last year's Masters Championship and this years season opener. You can bet their fellow East Anglian based team the Aftermath to be just as involved on the wrecking front.
Sticking with the visiting team theme and the Motley Krew are set to maintain their 100% attendance record at this event in recent years and they have made a habit of winning entertainer awards in previous seasons and they will not want to be upstaged by anyone.
Also making the trip are Team Flash who lifted the 2Litre Mildenhall Team title in November and they will be determined to add another accolade to their collection as will be the Condoms, a team which has won nearly every major title in the sport, except the Kent crown.
