The two drivers who have already assured themselves of a seeded entry on to the Blockbusta grid are: 99 Richie Ahern - last year's Blockbusta winner, and 988 Billy Dennison - winner of the Blockbusta Wild Card event at St Day in June of this year.
311 Lee Bradbury is set to create history by making his tenth successive appearance at this event - the only driver to have ever attended them all.
'The Freez' - 640 Henk de Jager, and 'Peewee' 13 Pieter Leistra are set to become the first drivers from mainland Europe to compete at St Day. Both continental drivers have truly extraordinary cars which they intend to race to mark their Blockbusta debuts.
Reigning World Champion, 617 Carl 'Jack' Overy, who won the gold roof at Smeatharpe last September, is also set to return to St Day. Overy was prevented from racing at the 2006 event, because of a wrist injury, but he finally made his St Day debut last year.
A strong Posh Wash contingent is set to include 381 Trevor Joyce, 199 Jamie Wyatt, 133 Ben Wyatt and 228 Tom Caplin. Fellow Posh Wash pairing - the south west based duo 341 Andrew Jones and 714 Paul Smaldon - are each due in action too.
Crasharama Champion 384 John Golden is due to head west. Can he score a memorable double success in Autospeed's two big open events for unlimited cc Bangers?
A track debut is planned by 661 Carl Cox.
172 Ben Forbes aims to make his annual visit to the far south west.
Real Steel are set to be well represented, with 737 Ian 'Crash' Crandon and 127 Peter 'Bungle' Wake heading their group. All four cars in Real Steel colours are said to be something extra special.
There is huge speculation that a Rolls Royce will be raced at St Day for the very first time.
After the season of his career so far, 55 James Ogborn will be looking to follow up some of his incredible displays with Autospeed this year, whilst maintaining his 100% attendance record.
He will be joined by fellow Fast Food racers 371 Paul White, 707 Richard Horwell who has a Granada Limo and 747 Chris Pearse who has a Mercedes Estate.
Similarly, 248 John Sparks will be another driver intent on being part of the day.
508 Steve Ashby has a Yank as he looks to extend his sequence of attending each of the previous Blockbustas at St Day.
Further south coast interest includes 395 Joe Donworth and 252 Steve Bugler.
239 Steve Carter will race Blockbusta for the first time.
The winner of the 2007 Blockbusta Wild Card event, 80 Matt Nutley, plans to make a return visit to Cornwall.
592 Mark Marchant has confirmed that The Blue Crew will be back at St Day once more, and that their number is set to include 271 Dean Goodearl, 159 Mitchell Mills, 270 Paul Roots, 272 Terry Goodearl and 571 George Goodearl.
Having been at Boneshayker at Easter, 702 James Dodge is set to head back to Cornwall for this year's Blockbusta, as he maintains his 100% attendance at St Day for this event.
Assorted Autospeed regulars on the entry list include 88 Tim Wood, 96 Dave Tancock and 406 Chris Bridger.
Cornish interest will be led by the likes of 07 Jerry Harvey, 142 James Herman, 383 Andre McLellan, 66 Dave Spooner, 47 Marcus A'Lee, 179 Stu Nightingale, 141 Toby Tiddy, and local young gun 862 Daryl Cock.
There will be a special 'Save St Day Overall Trier Of The Day' award - further details from the Save St Day website >> click here <<
