bears have unloaded 6 of them,action wise 409 joey collins in a yank t-boned poshwash 28 big time

Thought the meeting was good enough . . but can't see why hold the gate open 20 mins for 5 bears when 4 of them were parked on center after a lap and other 1 was diving on and off the infield.

I believe only Nutty Nige failed scrutineering at Mendips which was down to various minor issues, some of which he had already put right before he arrived at Aldershot, some of which were put right on arrival. I believe the main stumbling block at Mendips was the size of the passenger door plate.

At the end of the meeting when most had left today we went through Nutty Nige's car in detail and to be fair he was more than happy to let us do it. The chassis was spiked before he went out, and we had a good long look under the car after the meeting when it was on the hiab - there was little you could find wrong it with it - a good number of drivers had a look as well and will be able to back me up on that. There were some things which we have asked Nige to do differently when they are back next time but it was certainly not OTT.

Thanks to all the drivers who put on a good show today despite the conditions.

We will work out how the £2,000 will be split when we have a better idea of the format once we know how many we are going to get.

This meeting was by booking form only but due to time constraints booking forms are now not needed, but it is a pay to race meeting due to the prize money - £8 for Spedeworth registered drivers, £16 other ORC drivers, £20 temp drivers as usual.
