Bong Gang had 0 points going into the final which gave me last pick of the grid. The winner of the titles would be the team with the highest score in the final. I ended up winning and thanks to the rest of the points scoring places being pretty evenly spread between the other teams it left me and the posse joint top on 8,as highest scorer i took victory

Think i upset Laker who took me out in the singles final whilst leading and kept pushing me on my roof but i repaid him by stopping him last bend to give Reg the victory. Laker took the figure of 8.



Well done to what became the one man Bong Gang for winning the Team Final.
Splats were equal on points scored in the final but Bong win on highest placed finisher. Plonk getting third spot from Motley Krew for the same reason.
A few no shows and others dropping out or teams not fully filled out but still plenty of hardcore action.
Heat 1 saw exo take the chequered for the splats in a 16/60 and supported well by reg and a wrecking jboy saw the splats come out on top from the Motley Krew and the lone plonk driver at the time.
Heat 2 ..and this time Laker took his Crashco riley to victory from reg of the Splats with Crashco cioming out on top from the Splats and Plonk.
Heat 3 Plonk hero 730 Freejohn took the win in an A60 saloon... helped or hindered by rob...who knows???!!! from Splatman Jboy with Posse stig in 3rd.
points wise Splats came out on top again from the Posse with Plonk getting 3rd once more.
The final was frantic with server being a bit dodgy...but we all had to deal with it saw a victory for 27 Toward in his Bong Gang A60 estate from Plonk 730 .

Good performances from many drivers. 2 man Motley Krew were solid throughout and prob would have done much better if there was less chat in game and server lobby.

Now onto the individual side of the meeting after switching to lakers server.

13 Snakey took the solitary heat victory driving a magnette from jboy with laker in 3rd.
The final went to reg 126's magnette from Laker's riley and snakey's magnette .
joint top scorers overall being Snakey and Laker on 30 points from reg on 28.

Figure 8 was a rough 25 lapper with laker tasting victory again from reg in 2nd place and fagass 716 in 3rd

dd at newtongrange saw a draw between 390 dazza magnette and 730 freejohns cambridge saloon after a fair old hard hitting event.

Last in all races except the figure 8 as i went on oppo all night but got bored of it on the 8. Few big uns in the DD but only managed 3rd.

57 Chevy coupe is quite a beast

Congrats to xj6 mounted Knobby 536 on his third final win of BWS 11. He also bagged heat 1 in the process. 18 took part in the main part of the meeting with snakey turning up late just for the dd. Snakey ending up in runners up spot in that to Freejohn 730.
Heat 2 became a majestic one-two with reg 126's version just pipping dode 151 to the line....and 260 frenchy got 3rd in his majestic hearse. nb first round of the monsters class saw no majestics being used!!!! Heats 3 and 5 went to lee 531 in his xj6 with top scorer Freejohn grabbing first place in heat 4.
Figure 8 this week went to BWS Oval World Champ Laker in a mk2 jag from BWS Figure 8 World Champ Reg.
Freejohn also bagged the dd to end a good session for him.

Vid from 2 weeks ago when i raced.

Last in all races,helped Bandit win the final. Billy for first 2 races,Herbie for 3 and 4 and A50 bubble for 5 and 6,chose the billy for the final,fig 8 and DD,was poor in DD.

A no mates meeting saw a lot of the regular race winners take the wins once again.
Well done to Bandit 254 for his third final win of BWS11 as he took his A50 bubble home first in front of (hard nut)Knobby 536 in a billy with Frenchy 260 bubble powered in 3rd.
Any car figure 8 went to TNB Supremo and old git Lee 606 in his bubble A50 from Laker 590 (braving it in a Beetle) with geriatric reg 126 third....and not to mention Crewie 34 the zimmer frame specialist getting 4th in his billy..(no doubt fitted with specialist disabled persons controls).
Captain pastie Ryano 760 took the dd in a bubble though the billys gave a good account of themselves .
Onto the heats...first 2 billy races were victorys for LAKER 590, with Mace 520 getting a good second place from reg in 3rd in the first heat. Hard ginger nuts biscuits Knobby took 2nd and Exo(yes my dear) 72 was third in heat 2 for the fwd machines.
Frenchy 260 's herbie took the first victory in the Kraut classics races from Laker and Reg. Exo won the second hitlerwagen race from rob "roll out the barrel " 109 with laker again doing well in 3rd place surviving the Blitzkreig of blockers.
The first bubble burster race went to gentleman Reg who collects his pension every wednesday.., frenchy baguetted second place with his bestest mate dazza 390 in third. Frenchy then went one better to win the second A50 heat from old crud lover bandit 254 with nasty captain pastie ryano 760 in third.
TO ALL THOSE WHO DIDNT GET A SLAGGING ETC FROM BEING IN THE FIRST 3...SORRY thanx for racing and please try harder next time!!!

Team Races.
3 Heats and a Final at Bristol_UK_RX


Individual Racing.
Heat and Final at Bristol_UK_RX , FIG 8 at Swaffham8X, DD at Swaffham8X
points will be scored as per normal for the individual events and count towards the points charts.

TEAM EVENTS

race rules; oppo allowed anywhere on track ..no using the infield ..penalties may be applied for illegal use of the infield.

In all races team members MUST be using 4 different car types. Any team that fields two identical cars in a race will not score any points in that race. Each team may field 4 named cars using drivers normal race numbers and 3 novice numbered cars. Drivers may swap to using a novice car for any race though should ensure that they keep to the 4 different types rule.
Allowing use of swapping to novice cars will allow ppl to confuse the other teams and also rule out any arguments or moaning about being stuck in a duff car.
TEAMS SHOULD ASK FOR NOVICE NUMBERS TO BE ALLOCATED IN THIS THREAD.

Heats will be scored 8 points for 1st place down to 1 point for 8th .

The points scored by each team for places in the heats will be totalled up and be used to work out the grid for the CLUTCH START LINING UP IN THE FINAL. Highest scoring team based on these points only gets first pick of grid slots etc and so on.

POINTS TOWARDS SEASON LONG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP.
Points from the TEAM FINAL will be 8 for 1st down to 1 point for 8th place. These points will count towards the TEAM POINTS TABLE for the season.


In addition to the Points scored in the TEAM FINAL points from each heat can also be scored. In each heat the team with most points will score 3 Points , second highest will score 2 points and 3rd highest will score 1 point that will go towards the TEAM pOINTS TABLE.


The team that scores the most points in the FINAL will earn the title of the Northern A60 TEAM CHAMPIONS.

Individual racing.

Normal BWS race rules.
No car swapping allowed in individual racing.

While team racing can be highly enjoyable it can get frustrating if a driver is in a team thats struggling so the individual races still give drivers a chance to enjoy themselves without relying on others.
