1 of Barrow's most unknown meetings ever,i still don't know too much about it.

Was the day after an England match so Rog had been out on the Saturday and ended up not going as he was hungover.

Azz must have taken the bluebird he wrecked at hedno and then at Barrow 18th June but obviously it must not have raced. Willy perhaps in the Cav from 18th June? Dave maybe able to shed some light on the meeting? i take it he was in his Hedno and 18th june motor as well,Bitch i'm not sure and Herman taking Smilers car out could have been anything.

Cant be sure as i'm going off memory but sure someone said Herman was crash happy and went through Dave's passenger doors and it ended up a better meeting than the 18th June????

If i remember correctly something like 18 cars in the whole meeting across all formula's - bad day for Barrow although i would have gone if not for the England match.

if its the meeting i'm thinking of i had a fresh marina saloon that refused to run properly as soon as its wheels touched the track. Herman came through drivers door not passenger door. was a bit out of order, and actually snapped the steering column!

You had a Marina at Barrow and its never been mentioned! Shocked

not alot really, think bitch had a used bluey and smilers car was also a bluey. other than that not alot happened!

i think i remember this one, i was in my bluey from hendo teams did the first race and got spun out so tried to drive acroos the middle to rejoin but miss jugded the gap between the concrete blocks and ripped my front drivers wheel off, end of my day. repaired the car for the team meeting that year. that was a well used bluey did about 5 meeting i think still wasn't properly bent when i scrapped it.

Remember that Bluebird well Bitch,could have had 6 meets had it been out for the 18th June meet,seen 2 levs cars - yours and rugrat driving in the mills but neither came round to race.
