This meeting is on the 13th of may

Defending champs the levellers will probably be back hopefully bringing with them the bong gang,the bears and stinkbridge will surely be back again.Last rites from ireland enjoyed this years so they should come back and as always probably a few crashzone teams.Others like the steam team/team black/barton boys/blooz boyz/LRB/TNF/the mob/aftermath have been rumoured for a few years now so maybe an appearence from some of them.Personally i would like to see team v try their hand at it as they've won the barrow/warton/upper eden/hednesford national team meetings in the last few years and it would be good to see them have a go at another northern team event.

Bookings are now being taken for this meeting, hopefully we will top last years 53 cars.

501 Jay Hancock 740 Saloon first to book in but we know Jack,Wayne, Shane and Bears will be booking in. There have been quite a lot of calls from drivers - so please book in asap

There are also going to be rookie bangers/bombers racing,so if you have anything ready like that get booked in as there are only 30 spaces available

The 2007 BATTLE OF BRITAIN for Unlimited Bangers takes place at OWLERTON STADIUM, SHEFFIELD on SUNDAY 13th May at 12.30.pm

We have deliberately been a little late publishing news of BoB 2007 to ensure information is confirmed and we do not `over hype' what has become one of the major Banger tournaments of the calendar.

We are delighted to host the TOTTY MEMORIAL remembering Michael `Totty' Barber at the begining of the BATTLE OF BRITAIN MEETING next SUnday with a Parade of STINKBRIDGE DRIVERS and cars as a traditional mark of respect - well worth seeing and this will take place at 12.30.pm.

STINKBRIDGE x 2
BEARS x 1 [possibly 2]
TEAM BLACK x 1

THE 2007 BATTLE OF BRITAIN

It's coming, the ANNUAL SECRET POLICEMANS BALL! The 2007 BATTLE OF BRITAIN for Unlimited Bangers at Sheffield's OWLETON STADIUM this Sunday at 12.30.pm.

The event kicks off with a tribute to ex Stinkbridge devotee Michael `Totty' Barber with the Pink's showing the respect with an awesome Parade of cars as a tribute and part of the TOTTY MEMORIAL TROPHY build up. Following that will be a full grand parade of all cars and then battle commences!

Also racing on the day are Rookie Bangers [ AKA Banger Rods & Bombers!!] and cars are welcome from all promotions and tracks - Please book in via your own promotion/ startrad booking line.

LIGHTNING RODS also\make their first appearance on shale as part of the Central series with, once again all visiting drivers from ORCi promotions welcome - SAME BOOKING PROCEDURES APPLY.

Teams so far have been posted what we know, indications are from talk in Scotland and at Coventry of plenty of interest - there is a notoriety for not booking in or until the last minute. We ill update as we have info.
