Ap vids on ovalchat,said something along the lines of a team that couldn't come up last time will come this time if theres no clashes,last time i remember he asked the bears but they said they couldn't cos they were building cracker motors.might be wrong but thats my guess from what he said.

i have many secrets but that is not one of them!

Rumours in the last week or so sujest someone was trying to stop the new owner from re-opening barrow.

However,there is some good news on ovalchat!

Excellent news on ovalchat at the moment and it looks like we may get racing on the 18th may no where near certain as i understand though.

If everything goes to plan on the 23rd(i think its that date)..

I should be at the track on Saturday's with John getting things prepped ready for racing, if its definate racing is going to go ahead..

Im sure we will get it done in time..Things that i KNOW will need sorting are:

Toilets, Race Control, The track itself, The removal of what looks like a whole walls worth of bricks, sorting out at least one spectator mesh fence, removing that banking thats appeared all around the track...

As I said..thats what I know of, will be far more as not every square inch of the track has been photoed, and thats not getting the track presentable, just useable.

A never ending list..

Also..

IF we go racing JLVideos WILL be sponsering a meet and fingers WILL be filming EVERY meeting.

How long is it from chorley to barrow? must be a trek,respect to you for commiting to the track! Wish i could go but mt dad just simply wouldn't drive me that far when theres no meeting

This all depends on whether John would be willing to nip down the motorway and pick me up every week

I've received the draft Lease through today and everything looks OK which is good news. The lease would allow racing to carry on until February 2010

Also had the insurance quote through which is fine.

Everything should soon be in place to take possession of the site on 1st Feb. (my Birthday !).

Lots of work needed as you say and I will need to organise the work carefully especially from a safety point of view. Please don't go on the site unless we have organised work properly and I will need to prioritise the work.

Anyway, have a beer or something to celebrate the good progress !
