was an ok day,started off slowly but warm and then as the weather turned bad the action got better. Another wash out but still some good stuff (better than eden i'd say) DD was a stop start 1 with 2 injured drivers,1 with probably a broken ankle looking at him.Few head ons,the outsiders seemed to want to turn it round all the time.2 of the team cumbria ended a mess but karlos did well for them.

I agree with your summary Paul. At one stage I didn't know if the meeting was going to go ahead with the fog that was around until about 10 o'clock and the forecast for "10 weeks rain in one day" on Saturday in the paper didn't help.

That said, everyone I spoke to had a good day. Well done to Dan Collings for representing Barrow in the bangers and getting a 2nd in the Final and doing well all day. Well done to Gaity as well in the Banger Rods taking the win in Heat 1 and then taking 2 OTT hits in the second heat that killed his car.

Yeah gaity's first time on that track (i believe) and he blew the field away in heat 1.

That fog was worrying me on the way down the A1 john,some parts it was getting thick aswell and i was just hoping it would stay up enough so we could see the full track which it managed lol
