Yeah part of my busy august lol got warton this sunday,hednesford next sunday,eden teams on bank holiday monday and brampton on the 31st

Hiya Bitch, sorry about the delay getting back to you with info. about the meet. Its gonna be a special one for any Barrow drivers and spectators and has been put on specially for Barrow drivers.

I'll be at Warton tomorrow (Sun 3 Aug) with some leaflets about it or the Brampton website has a lot of info including booking in and prize draws for teams that book in. Its Teams of 4 in 2.0 Litre cars representing tracks (existing or past). So a team (s) could represent Barrow and maybe one or more from Millom. Theres £700 of prize money including £200 for the Winner of the Barrow Trophy (probably the Banger Final).

Heard that the coal power from scotland may be making the trip down,hopefully tempt the mob down?
Also read that standlake could have up to 3 teams,barrow have 1 and that warton and eden have 1 each,not sure if this is right or wrong though.

So far still only 6 teams booked,although from what i've been told there is a huge amount of drivers/teams considering it.

Brampton are putting a lot of work in to the meeting with a free BBQ on the Sat. night, free breakfast on the Sunday morning and loads of prizes for drivers and teams.

The weather forecast is supposed to get better at the end of August too !

Karlos is trying to get a team for Upper Eden, please spread the word cos he hasn't got anyone yet!!

Eden could use the team meeting to get a team for it.

At a guess we may see some preds (have to wait another week or so til my man from the preds is back off his hols) maybe levs? TSB surely,the rest of brampton are already booked,standlake have a team booked,hopefully coal power as rumoured on an online site.Eden as mentioned above,its been offered to warton and prestatyn aswell.

Furthest Travelled – not sure how to do this one yet but there will be some cash / prizes for teams that have travelled.

There will also be best entertainer in each heat which will include a Trophy and £10.00

There will be Trophies for all races and Merit awards.

If we get any more donations / sponsors on the day ( which is usual ) this will go straight into drivers prize fund to bump it up in
whichever race the donator / sponsor wishes.

There is no charge for camping or parking and camping is open to both drivers and spectators.
There will also be a complimentary BBQ and breakfast for the campers!!

a cracking Banger meeting that he has organised and put some serious hard work into!!






There will be a prize draw every week ( 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th Aug ) leading up to this meeting for all the teams that have booked in.
This will be for a variety of prizes which will be awarded at the end of the meeting on 31st August.

New Topic started in northern team meetings,this will however stay in the barrow section as it is the barrow memorial and is the only place John can post without registering lol

Upper Eden have entered a team so far just 1 driver though.

I think that Upper Eden now have a full team so it will be good to see them represented.
