| I'm sure part of its still there? You can see it from the road I think - looks like some sort of defunct stadium/grandstand. Aways wanted to go and have a look |

The "Sandpit" track is up the road from Roosecote raceway .. in the trees is the bottom bend .. | got a DVD from 1991 at the sandpit and it all looks armco to me but you can't see 1 part of the track very clearly so it may be post and rope at that end lol
So we've had park road, the sandpit and the mills plus millom some people say but its hardly barrow is it lol _________________ R.I.P NuDgEr

| Just to clear things up, there was a track on Park Road, and a track where the Gas Terminal now is. When the Gas Terminal built on the land of the track they helped build and fund the new track when it first opened - the Salthouse Mills. |

| Was told at hedno teams that there was 1,probably someones personal footage. Working on getting a copy of that and i also have my own footage of the track and mills, may be quite crap but its still footage of most of the area when it wasn't falling to bits (Feb 07) theres 45 mins and its still on my old camera (really really old, like when they were 1st invented lol),if i can get it off and onto some sort of disc/video i'll work on getting it on my PC and hopefully youtube. At least it would be something to remember it by when its all gone _________________ R.I.P NuDgEr
