Sadly Kevin "NuDgEr" Davies passed away yesterday. He died from a massive heart attack.

Those of you who use ovalchat will know who he is. He was a massive massive stinksbridge fan and part of the "big up Brampton Brigade" on ovalchat been a big brampton fan also.

He came to all the big meetings at Brampton travelling from Newcastle with one or two cars full! He was a top lad.

It was only Sunday he was at Skeggi and even posting on ovalchat yesterday morning. He will be a big loss to the banger world as his enthusiasm for the sport was second to none.

Wasn't gonna put anything on here as already most of you will know and its something i can't talk about very easily since i was quite close to him and its a huge shock to learn that he's gone.

I'm in touch with Brampton about getting him a memorial race or something along those lines either this sunday or at the big 1 as he thouroughly deserves it. I'd say Newcastle's number 1 banger fan,20 years he'd been going to race meetings he said on sunday and had been to many tracks around the country.

I'll update this topic and the brampton topic about any news of a memorial trophy/race.

Its very sad news. I only knew him via OvalChat, didnt have the honour to meet him. RIP mate..

and did i? lol was that barford? god i've met easily 20-30 people through nudger that i wouldn't have,shall have to stay in touch with them.

Only saw him again at KOTP

To be honest i'd only known him in person from barford xmas last year,known him online for ageeeeees before then but we'd not gone to the same meetings as each other.

Was gonna try take me to warton teams last year but seats were all taken (thats before he'd even met me) was gonna take me to lynn bandit memorial but then didn't go himself and as you know took me to skeggy and buxton. He had already basically arranged taking me to shamwreck next year aswell bless him,"Get a provisional driving license and get ya dad told" - lol wasn't "oh do you wanna come,we'll let ya come with us" cos he knew i'd wanna go etc and had already put me in his plans.

Well hopefully this weekend the pits will be chocker and the action will be thick and fast as he was looking forward to it more than most meetings he's been to this year.

Funeral is next wednesday at 2PM

A minute's silence will be held on sunday at brampton and there is talk of a memorial race at the big 1.

A memorial parade will be held at the big 1,stinkbridge and the irish will be in it i think.

Would like to do a video of the parade but my memory card can't do much in the way of video's so if anyone on here is going and can film it please do.
