Been to the lakes today and since i was around the area i popped into millom to see if i could find the track and see what its like.

Found it and hopefully this week i'll have around 50 pics up.

Had some other banger related moments including re-doing the route to barrow (or most of it) which was emotional and i also got to try the new bypass for the 1st time lol passed a yard/barn with 307 butch on a finplate just off the A595 on route to Millom which i guess is the kirkbrides.
Then near milloms track i found a breakers yard looking thing which had a mondeo in the air and a ladder as if someone had been working on it,perhaps benno or chucksys yard?

Also spotted a steeles removals van on the kendal bypass road.

been there once or twice...not impressed. the best one was the one a few doors down from sea breeze that shut a few months back. i cried that day.

i`d love to live in barra. haha would be heaven for me 2 see steeles removals every day. dont fancy going back to the mills though, like toward said, its emotional now.

I also dont think the owners have helped the matter, which has led to all these fires cos they have simply neglected the site. And they gave us a bollocking for piling car interior outside our garage...wtf.

Yep, totally agree James. I never even saw a proper banger meeting there but there was just something about the mills that made you love it, lol thats why me and bekki would go on the train as much as possible.
the past 2 times we have been its felt wierd, sorta scary coz no one was about and the track had been demolished. we had managed to get to that blocked off part at willys old flat, but left straight away coz it felt so wierd.
But I`ll never forget the good times there. Painting the track, exploring the buildings and just wandering about. I do miss it.

not the same down there anymore...never see anyone. its deffo lost some of its magic if you know what i mean
