| blockbuster at westworlds the furthest ive gone for a meeting... stayed at a friends in falmouth- 425 miles away, took some gear down and bought a granny off him built it there with his gear and my own, then took it to the track- 25 miles, back again to his after the meeting 25 miles and then home again the next day after stripping it - 425 miles... total 900 miles.... for 1/2 lap, followed sum1 in then got a pillar ripped clean out my granny by a masive yank... think that works out at 1800 miles per lap done alot of 300+ treks, arena for polo memorial with a mk1 limo... oh another 1 lap special.. then when i was in kent, i did barrow and warton. one of the barrow meets was the 1.4 teams which i did after going to cowdie world cup the night b4... just over 1000 miles that weekend. then also blockbuster when i took my impala was 290 miles each way... there the longest ones, but i didnt mind doing any of them, 1) i enjoy weekends away its all a good crack , and 2) i took the rough with the smooth, all balances out when i consider all the meetings i did at barrow where the track was a stones throw from my unit. c'mon mr g- show me up and get counting on ur fingers and toes for your miles lol |

| i still win... left this one out... from sevenoaks to barrow- 315 miles... set fire to car welding a bolt on my cage in willys garage the day b4 so had to rewire it change the seat and repaint it that night, then to warton - 40 miles, for the illfated metalmania in 2005 - i was out in heat 3... the incident happened with the pit gate in heat 2 and the meeting was canceleld there and then, so i never raced.. on the good side i picked a mk1 coupe up from birmingham on the way home - 630 miles - no laps oh and id already been to birmingham to pick up that mk2 granny that i took up to warton to race...(it was a manual one i found over the net and i had no manual gear for a granny then cos i sold up b4 i moved away) 180 miles each way.. add the 630 is around 990 miles.... think it went to the yard and home a few times as i as keeping it on my lorry, when i kept my lorry at home at the time.. so it did over a thousand miles without getting raced... then took it to smallfields (45 miles) for the dianne drabble memorial in april 05 and did quarter of a lap there and started collecting air miles weeeeeeeee lol so it was 1/4 of a lap at smalfields ( was followed over banking only about 50 yards past the start flag) and well over a thousand miles... works out at 2000+ miles... this is getting silly... |
