We are sorry to announce the closure of Bovingdon Raceway, Bovingdon Airfield Nr Hemel Hempsted, Herts. This coming Sunday the 28th of September 2008, sees the last meeting of the 2008 season, also the final meeting to be held at the venue.

The closure has been brought about by several issues, the main reason being the economic downturn with the low turn out of spectators. Also now we have Northampton Raceway not far away and our newly acquired Aldershot Raceway, drivers do have a further choice of tracks at their disposal.

Also the Land Owner has been forced to relocate the Market to the raceway area, due to the possible redevelopment of other parts of the Airfield.

We hope that spectators and drivers alike will support the raceway at the final meeting on the 28th September, first race 1.30pm, formulae racing:
